Look out for the boat which says V E R A NA on the side, with an orange canvas top! Have your driver drop you as close to the pier of Boca de Tomatlan as possible, and if you are early relax at the small restaurant near the pier.

14. Do you accept children?
At Verana we have an age policy, of 16 years old or older. This is in part to foster an adult atmosphere, but also due to the presence of scorpions in the region. These arachnids are generally safe for adults but can cause complications for the very young.
15. Can you tell us more about the scorpions?
Scorpions are native to the region, and while their sting can be painful they are not dangerous to adults. We do a great job keeping Verana scorpion free, but the occasional one will still be found. Wearing shoes, not leaving your things laying on the ground, and being aware of your surroundings will ensure a safe stay.

You can also arrange with us to boat you to a number of secluded beaches.
17. Can we book activities or spa treatments prior to arrival?
Of course! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Please note that some activities which are by boat are dependent on ocean conditions and weather, and though we do not often need to cancel an activity, we do reserve the right to do so if it is deemed too dangerous.
18. What happens if our flight is delayed?
Don’t panic, just contact us by phone or email as soon as a delay is reported, chances are you will still have no problem arriving to Verana that same day.
If your flight is extremely delayed and is too late to arrive to Verana, we are happy to arrange a boat for the next day at 1 pm; we can also try and provide a special late boat service, for an additional charge, but this is not always possible.
Verana is open from November to June. Continue to check here for any job postings during the season. In the summer, we recruit for the next season.
